Belkin router

Posted 01-27-2009 at 09:30 PM by royace

I have a wifi link set up in my home. It uses a Belkin F5D7230-4 router. I can log onto the link with a desk top computer and with laptop computers runing Windows. I have an EeePC running linux but I can not get a wireless link up and operating. The same EeePC operates OK at the city library, hotels and coffee shops which have hot spots. Also I tried to log onto my sons wireless net and could not. He also is using a Belkin F5D7230-4 router which seems to work with all of the wireless laptops and WII games. Is there some thing about that Belkin router which makes it incompatable with Linux?
Thanks I need all the help I can get.
