My dual boot setup.

Posted 04-10-2009 at 06:50 PM by rich_c

I was reading a blog earlier this week about not paying MS tax or propping up market share claims by trying to avoid buying hardware with Windows pre-installed. This got me thinking about my dual boot desktop, which hardly ever gets booted into Vista. I've used it occasionally to do a bit of 'testing' but apart from that, there are people in my household who have never used it. This despite there being numerous requests for a Windows partition when I bought this particular PC. If I'd had my way, it would be Linux only. As it is, it might as well be despite me making sure both OSes were set up to offer similar functionality over our home network. Ah well. One of these days, when disk space gets a bit tight I will unceremoniously format Vista into oblivion.
