Barcelona

I went to Barcelona for a long weekend, a strange phrase "long weekend" that somehow lingers on in the english language, so whats a short weekend ? Barcelona has a pretty port where an aquarium has been built,and of course a big commericial center. Antoni Gaudí architecture is the biggest attraction of the city, his buildings are something not seen in my neigbourhood. I believe he also designed La Sagrada Família which is a cathedral still under development as well as the buildings in...

Pre-Linux (but not for too much longer)

As of yesterday evening, I am now the owner of a pre-furbished Packard Bell recovering Win95 machine. I say pre-furbished because said box has been sitting in Dad's basement for a few years, and needs a monitor, a bit of cleaning up, and a hdd wipe [both of them]before I can show it what a real OS is [I hope]. With any luck, I should have it up and running [even if it's only Damn Small Linux] without a lot of headaches.

Also, the geeks at my local computer store have a few 1-2 yr...

Am I the only person who finds it altogether too difficult to find the 'New Blog Entry' button? I would imagine that when I start writing to my blog a bit more I will remember where it is, but at the moment I keep looking for it up the top, and I just can't find it there (surprisingly enough)! It frustrates me to no end!

Well, anyway, I'm back from holiday now (and have been for a week, but I haven't been bored enough to wiki until now!). I was in North Wales, in a place called Pwllheli...
