I can copy from my desk top but,I can't copy or scan from my printer!?

The RED ! light stays on while the printer is on but,does go out when I shut the printer off!

When I try to copy or scan (from the printer),it makes a rapid clicking noise but,stops after several seconds.Still,nothing!!!

My first post...

Well I suppose I should say that I'm using Debian on VMWare at the moment, away to move to separate box once I get it ordered. Basically at the moment I'm trying to unlearn what I picked up from Red Hat/SUSE 3 years ago because I always broke them and reinstall was a monthly occurrence. Anyway so far it's successfully running Samba, AMP (Apache/MySQL/PHP), and all happily from the command line - back to my CLI roots!

Now to figure out how to get the...

I love to run my programs on debian linux because of the stability. My main skill in computers in java programming and networking.

I always use samba, which I know very good.

Grub Reinstall

Hi i recently installed win server 2003 on my suse 9.3 and after restarting am not able to see my grub.Even after using the rescue disk for fedora 6 and issuing the -chroot /mnt/sysimage command,it seems not to work.Any help is welcomee.thanks

We are installing Suse Linux 10.1 on HP Proliant Wintel 64 bit Blade Server BL-460 c.

RAM : 2048 MB

Server Segement Size : 80 G

Installtion Method : Using ISO image of Installtion DVD , ISO mounted at the ILO2 - Inetgrated Remote Console of Server
