UP Bay

Posted 04-02-2008 at 10:57 PM by jmoschetti45

Finally done setting up my latest site, UP Bay.

It's an auction site aimed primarily at the local area where I live, but can be used anywhere.

It has some unique features like wanted ads and local pickup as a shipping option.

Check it out, http://upbay.net

Can you give me some advices about installing Ubuntu?

Posted 03-30-2008 at 04:44 PM by fluidistic

I'm not used to linux, but I've downloaded a live cd version of Ubuntu. I would like to install it on a hard drive. I already have a partitioned hard drive under windows XP, which biggest part has 119 Go on which about 80 Go are still free. Instead of installing Ubuntu in this disk, I thought about buying a new disk, say about 80Go. This way I would conserve a large space for windows, and I guess that if something goes wrong during the installation of Ubuntu I would't lose any Windows files....
