Tips for Giving a Great Wedding Speech

As if weddings were not nerve-wracking enough, there is the added element of the possibility of having to give a speech. There do not appear to be any clear cut rules as to who will give speeches at a wedding, I've heard the best man, the groom, the bride, and the mother-in-laws for possibilities as to who might be giving a speech at a wedding. Booting into xdm, kdm or gdm with Slackware

Posted 05-25-2008 at 01:04 AM by shannonbay

Edit /etc/inittab to boot into runlevel 4

runlevel 4 kills all the gettys except 6 for cli and 3 or 7 for X.

Then edit /etc/rd.d/rc.4 to choose your desktop manager.

Recommend the slackbook for more info.
