Fixing windoze Computers

Posted 08-02-2008 at 03:19 AM by nigelc

Be careful if you fix someone's windows computer because it will take AGES.
They probably won't know the passwords for the email & it will be full of spyware and more spyware.
And there will be lots of other faults like have stupid software that they don't know what it does.
etc etc.

I've never kept a blog(*) before. I've never needed to. I need to keep a blog now no more than I ever did. So, I'll probably post once or a couple times, then promptly forget I ever had(*) a blog. People that run(*) their own blogs assume that they have stuff to say that others will be interested in reading. I am under no such delusions. Hence, this blog is a complete waste of time. If you're reading this, you're wasting your time. There are no kernels of knowledge here, no pearls of wisdom. All...

I've noticed in the madwifi tickets that AR5008/AR5416 wireless was functioning and had been broken in the past due to updates but the regressions were fixed. Also, in my previous install on 2008.06.22, my D-Link DWA-552 was working with wireless...
