Speakers Do Make a Difference

I would consider myself an audiophile. I have not spent hundreds of dollars on my sound set up at home. I don't spend hours even listening to music. Podcasts have become my audio entertainment in the car, washing dishes, and when exercising. Yet, I have learned that speakers do make a difference. For years I have used the original speakers that come with desktops or the built in speakers in laptops.

This last Christmas, I put on my list new speakers for the computer. Well, I got some....

A Day without X

X Server is the backbone for Linux GUI. Every user impigne on X for its day-to-day work. X provides you with everything that you need for Browsing, Chatting, Watching Movies, Using ur favourite s/w to Listen Music.

Just Imagine a "Day Without X Server", using Command Line Interface (CLI) for all your day work. Don't worry there are a lots of CLI based softwares that makes you browse net, chat with your friends, watch movies, etc etc stuffs...

winbindd dead but pid file exists

i had use winbind demon to acess the win-nt domine user to the linux. it works well before 3 days, but now when i start winbind it says


/etc/init.d/winbind restart

Shutting down Winbind services: [FAILED]
Starting Winbind services: [ OK ]


/etc/init.d/winbind status
winbindd dead but pid file exists


What is the problem i don't change any of...

LftpFS

LftpFS is a read-only network filesystem with caching for smart mirror of sites. Useful for mirroring of Linux repositories. It's based on FUSE and LFTP client, which supports FTP, HTTP, FISH, SFTP, HTTPS, FTPS protocols and works over proxies. LftpFS is a fork from unmaintained FuseFTP.
