Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.

After the last attempt at installation failed (it had something to do with misplaced headers due to package management failing to pack glibc correctly), I decided to try again. Using the 64-bit LFS CD/Instruction manual to build the toolchain, Gentoo X64_86 to build the base system.
Package Management: It's all in my head. Not a very effective way of managing what gets installed, but it is my preferred method of installing LFS.
It seems I am stuck in a rut, and have been for some years now. Basically its this: my sleeping patterns are aweful! I go to be at 2am+ (as late as 4am some days) and get up at 1pm or later the next day. Atrocious! I just can't make myself go to bed earlier, and its bringing me down . I feel bouts of drowsiness throughout the day, I can't concentrate as well, I am (slightly) more irritable, and just generally feel lousy that half the day is gone when I awake. Discipline...
