Linux Magazine

While in the supermarket today I noticed "Linux format Magazine". The dvd that came with it had pclinuxos, and mepis on it. I nearly bought it, but I don't really like pclinuxos as I am not a fan of mandriva, which pclinuxos is derived. I have used mepis and it's good in my book! But I'm afraid £6.50 for a magazine is a bit steep in my opinion!

The other mag they had was "Linux Magazine" (original I suppose?). That came with just one operating system which was...

HAL-PC Elections for the Board of Directors

Every Spring HAL-PC elects roughly one half of the Board of Directors, I am running for re-election. I am in the midst of writing my candidate's statement, which is due today. I realized that I may have more to say during the campaign "season", so I am reserving this spot for additional information.

Gaining a legislative majority

For the foreseeable future the democrat party will maintain and increase their hold on elected seats. This holds true for state and federal legislatures. Why? Simple really. The democrats have realized that winning elections is about increasing the numbers of voting people who hold similar ideals to their own. You have more people out there you get more votes. The republicans are still trying to win by shifting the positions of the people they put up for office. They are following the crowd...

error installing zaptel centos

I am installing zaptel-1.4.11 and when i run command
1) ./configure, it works but when run
2) make install, i am gettin the following error:
