I now have XOSL as my boot manager.

Posted 03-02-2009 at 10:38 AM by leobing

I have installed XOSL as a boot manager and it is very good. I made a 1gig partition of ext3 Linux and installed XOSL there. Using it I don't have to go into any of my linux partitions to change the boot managers characteristics. It has an option on boot up to edit it.
I have been running Mepis 8 lately. It is much better at running things out of the box than the Ubuntus. It uses Debian. I have a 22" wide lcd monitor and the Ubuntus are unable to run 1600x1000 or so and that bugs me....
