I'm going to list a few links showing two of my projects. One of them is completed. The second is just in the beginning stages.

This is the project in which I installed my first liquid-cooled system. You'll notice in this project I had special interest in reaching the coldest temperatures possible. I had been doing research into the use of hybrid systems, combining phase-change and heat-transfer fluid designs. These designs are now being reconsidered in my second project.

Sleepless In Oldham

Another of my occasional bouts of insomnia, so what better way to waste some time than a rambling blog entry.
I know I said in a post in the forums that nothing from Microsoft was going to pollute my relatively new desktop. Well, I've gone back on that. I installed XP Pro in VirtualBox, just as an experiment, out of curiosity, not any need. I'd forgotten how tedious the Windows installation is. Anyway, while it was slowly progressing, I was watching Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band...

Adding A new Project Into CVS Repository


Following steps has to do for adding a new project to the cvs repository.

Step-i

Add a username(should be same as the project name) and create a password for the corresponding user name. Then edit the following file # vi /etc/passwd and find the corresponding username. Edit the particular line and change the group number to the group number of cvs.

Step-ii

Edit the file 'group'...

yum commands

Pls go through it, no more doughts remain regarding yum commands:

To download and install all updates type the following command:
# yum update

List all installed packages, enter:
# rpm -qa

# yum list installed

Find out if httpd package installed or not, enter:
# rpm -qa | grep httpd*
# yum list installed httpd

To check for and update httpd package, enter:
# yum update httpd
