My experience converting a video

I use Kaffeine to record TV programs. The trouble is it saves as an "m2t" file, which I'm told is compressed to save space.

there's no problem playing it in Kaffeine and the quality is great, but Totem freezes. So I thought I would try and convert it to .mpeg! Openmovieeditor, wouldn't open the .m2t extension, neither would Pitivi! I didn't have Kdenlive installed and didn't want to install all those Kde dependencies (this is my old desktop computer you see), so I tried...

hi all
i am using Fedora 11.i am working on an PKI OpenCA project, it's an educational one. i have install all necessary packages and when i try running apache, it refuses to start pasting this error:

Syntax error on line 56 of /usr/local/apache2/conf/extra/httpd-ssl.conf:Invalid command 'SSLPassPhraseDialog', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration.

when i comment line 56 i.e

SSLPassPhraseDialog...

I was in Birmingham airport at the end of March this year in WHSmith looking for a magazine to read during the flight. I was in the middle of editing the company web site at the time, an on going project but I was doing it all on XP, my company PC. That months Linux Format magazine had an article on Google web master tools and Java script and after a brief flick threw the magazine I bought it. Kismet – An 802.11 wireless network detector, sniffer, and intrusion detection system

Kismet is a 802.11b wireless network sniffer. It is capable of sniffing using almost any supported wireless card using the Airo, HostAP, Wlan-NG, and Orinoco (with a kernel patch) drivers.Kismet identifies networks by passively collecting packets and detecting standard named networks, detecting (and given time, decloaking) hidden networks, and infering the presence of nonbeaconing networks via data traffic.

VLC not working on RHEL-5

hello everybody.

I have installed vlc media player on rhel-5. but, while i click to vlc media player from application menu nothing happen i mean niether it's open nor show any error message.

please, anybody help me.
