You can change that 5 to 3 (after you've booted) so that subsequent boots while you're testing

I love Linux, I wish I had never had to suffer with Windblows. I have been going through tutorials to learn the Shell, and it is fantastic. I always felt like the computer was supposed to be useful, and not create extra tedious problems that can not be fixed.

I learned that the computer even runs off of electricity, and not the constant pumping of the mouse. Keyboard shortcuts I never knew of. I still have not made progress with the speaker issue. But Linux has allowed my to and...

Windows 7 - the gap is closing

When Windows 2000 was out I had poisoned some thread with the observation that the window of opportunity for Linux was closed since MS finally had an OS that worked. Looking at the "Linux desktop" years later, was I correct? Not totally wrong for sure. Now we have Windows 7 and my impression is that the gap between Linux and Windows is closing together with another window of opportunity.

Windows 7 is a new Windows. Trivial, but undervalued. Any change is a great recommended...
