Simple Ubuntu 10.04x LTS installation that allows multiboot

Have you ever heard of multibooting many distros from the same partition (eg, MultiBoot USB with Grub2)?

Do you need to find a way to install the new Ubuntu 10.04x LTS into an existing partition as another option to multiboot?

Simple, you don't need to download or install any scripts or executables. But you should be familiar with command line.

# Prepare source
sudo mount -o loop iso/ubuntu-10.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso

Announcement: ATTENTION ALL BLOG COMMENTERS: Malicious commands

Posted 08-23-2010 at 03:53 PM by Kenny_Strawn (Kenny the one-teen comittee to stamp out Proprietary $uckware)

I have noticed that most LQ members get amused when they talk about shell commands that inflict damage on Linux systems. In my blog, however, THIS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!!! It violates item #4 of my Blog Code of Conduct and I have a strict zero-tolerance policy for such malicious content as the Code of Conduct already states.

Now, for the education of commenters, here are some examples of commands NEVER TO TYPE, even if another member lies and says it's okay.
