What a nice 18th birthday present: FinalFreeze for an Ubuntu release

Posted 08-19-2010 at 09:42 PM by Kenny_Strawn (Kenny the one-teen comittee to stamp out Proprietary $uckware)

According to this page, the FinalFreeze/KernelFreeze/NonLanguagePackTranslationDeadline for the Natty Narwhal (Ubuntu 11.04) will be on April 14, 2011 (A.K.A. my 18th birthday).

What's odd is that this release schedule actually came out ***BEFORE*** the GNOME 2.33.x/3.0 release schedule. This usually doesn't happen. But that's beside the topic: Steshenko, now you know how old I am.

Possible brainstorming for Ubuntu 11.04

Please note that the Natty Narwhal may have GNOME Shell, not GNOME Panel, so the Cloud menu may need to be ported to GNOME Shell. This is my contribution here.
