Pinguy OS:A Ubuntu-Fork

This is a OS I have been working on since Ubuntu 10.04 Beta 2. I thought itís about time I released it and get
some criticism on it.There isnít any 32-bit version as most people should have a 64-bit processors as they have
been around for for a few years now. The main reason for going with 64-bit is because itís faster then 32-bit on the same hardware and there arenít many programs now that donít run on 64-bit.Ubuntu maybe easy to use but not
all of the programs for it are,...

what is region, region table, region entry

i m confused with concepts of process table, region ,region table. does kernel has entry in process table or kernel builds process table ?

My hard drive disk is officially unusable. I can't boot from it or reformat it. Now, it just sits there. (-_-')

They (whoever "They" are) say it's a virtue. Not that I've ever been keen on virtues, but I am more patient now than I used to be. Which is ironic, really. The older you get, the less time you have left, so you should be less patient.

Grub corrupt

How do you boot Linux if the boot loader is corrupt. System is stuck at 'grub>' prompt. You do not have a CD. Mount option does not work. And the LVM contains the Boot loader.
