Samba 3.5.6 Debian Wheezy guest account mapping for unknown user

Nother problem that cost me some life time and hair too I'd say. Fiddeling around with samba on Debian wheezy I created a share that should be public accesible. So we call it public. Yes I am an artist and genius when making up names. Anyways as we want the guest account to be allowed we put guest ok = yes inside the config part of the share. Also to be a bit more restrictive I also added valid users = +smbusers (Nother prove of my genuine artistry). The usaual path and other things found there...

If you want to look for compatible smart card readers, check http://wiki.debian.org/Smartcards. For smart cards compatible with opensc, check https://github.com/OpenSC/OpenSC/wik...-USB-tokens%29. You may choose to utilize proprietary smart cards, but this guide only covers opensc-compatible ones.

The majority of the information I used can be found at http://www.gooze.eu and https://github.com/OpenSC/pam_pkcs11/wiki. I ended up purchasing Athena...

calculating write speed

Hi ,
I wrote this script for any normal distro
This calculates data written in 10 seconds to get average.
Also monitors copying process , if possible , to know when to stop monitoring

Neverwinter Online with wine 64-bit 1.6-rc4

Background: this is for a 64-bit linux system with alsa installed and no pulseaudio. Derived from: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManage...estingId=78390 and http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManage...estingId=78500 with a few tweaks for my setup.
  • Download Neverwinter Online.
  • We can't use 64-bit with a 32-bit compatibility layer (WoW) in this case as winetricks won't install ie8 correctly, so we force a 32-bit wine.

About DebEX Barebone Linux 64 bit

The system is a based on Debian Jessie (upcoming Debian 8?). There are also certain elements of Debian Sid (unstable). LXDE is used as Desktop environment. “The Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment (LXDE) is an extremely fast-performing and energy-saving desktop environment“. DebEX Barebone uses the original Debian kernel 3.9-1-amd64 (Kernel.org’s 3.9.6, stable). The system language is English.
