Hai friends,

Last one week fully i spent time wit BTRFS.

Btrfs is a new copy on write filesystem for Linux aimed at implementing advanced features while focusing on fault tolerance, repair and easy administration. Initially developed by Oracle, Btrfs is licensed under the GPL and open for contribution from anyone.

Posted 12-15-2010 at 10:35 AM by ichase

Forget the 'cd' command !!!

Posted 12-15-2010 at 05:58 AM by thasuresh

Autocd:

$ shopt -s autocd

thasu@tha-admin-da ~ $ /var/log/cups/
cd /var/log/cups/
thasu@tha-admin-da...

If you plug in a usb hard disk with many partitions, all of the partitions will automatically mount. This behaviour may not be what you want so you can configure it as shown below.

If the volumes have labels the icons will be named accordingly, otherwise...

conf-dir=/etc/dnsmasq.d/
