Here's another usage example for runc.

When you want to pack up a bunch of folders by name that live in a windows partition, there's a great likelihoold that spaces in the paths could cause a normal shell program to mis-parse the file names.

Runc uses C/C++ and the built-in slist functions...

About exGENT (Gentoo) 2013

NEWS 130926
I've made yet a another version (20130926) of exGENT 2013. This time for the 64 bit architecture. I've kept my two previous versions 20130423 and 20130415 on Sourceforge.net. The old versions are for the 32 bit architecture. The new version (130926 of 1070 MB) uses LXDE as Desktop environment. Used kernel: 3.11.1-gentoo-exton (with kernel sources). The system can easily (in about 5 min) be installed to hard drive or/and to a usb pen drive....

Milestone in progress.

Posted 09-25-2013 at 06:40 PM by ReaperX7

Today I successfully installed Midori Browser into Xfce and have Xfce set as my default desktop environment using startx. This for me is a huge milestone because now I can graphically surf the web and work on LFS equally.

However, I have hit a snag with Parole Media Player. It doesn't work, so if anyone can help me with the bug, please do as I have a post in the LFS section regarding it.

If all things proceed as planned, I aim to have a few more packages added soon...
