OpenMPI interface for FreePascal/Linux

The very initial, assuredly incomplete interface. Had to quickly produce something suitable for the course of parallel computations.

Converted from OpenMPI 1.2.9 header by h2pas. Made additional modifications. Only two default communicators supported now, WORLD and SELF. Might work for entire 1.2.* OpenMPI series.

upd: Added a bunch of ompi_... datatypes and handlers. Might be nearing a practical completness limit. Of the minimal 6 functions set, MPI_Init, MPI_Finalize...

I have a few ETL boxen that handle insane amounts of data every night. Hundreds of billions of rows of data get extracted from our OLTP databases, transformed, and then loaded into our datawarehousing machines. Needless to say, we're running into serious networking bottlenecks that are causing some ETL operations on larger databases to take 10+ hours, and each night we can watch the gigabit links on each of our ETL servers peg out at 100%. It's getting so bad that we have connections that get...

Posted 09-14-2011 at 11:25 PM by sumeet inani

i wanted to write a batch file that hides windows of particular application
It worked if I type line by line at command prompt
c:\>cmdow | find /i "gvim" | find /i "vis" | cut -f 1 -d " " > handle.txt
c:\>for /f %k in (handle.txt) do cmdow %k /hid
If you want a batch file to do that then

Wow...forgot about this blog

Posted 09-14-2011 at 04:04 PM by unixfool

I've been keeping most of my blogging with, and for awhile I was using iWeb (for my Mac and motorcycling blogs and web pages). Well, I'm beginning to hate iWeb, since I can only use my Macs with it. I don't like being that tied to my Macs.

So, I think I'll give this blog a shot again...I'll just straight up start adding ANYTHING technological to this blog and try to take advantage of this site's publicity.

So, expect to see more postings soon!
