Have writtern some code and want to highlight echo stmts.

Ex echo "mahendra"

Now i want to hightlighr mahendra with bold and green color ,i am using ubuntu 9.04 version.

Selecting fields from a line using "sed"

Yeah, sed ...

No matter how well I think I know sed, it still manages to bite me more often than serve me. Everything I do know about sed, manuals aside, I learned from other programs like ed, vi, and even awk. What I'm getting to is this: my sed-fu is weak, so don't take anything I say about it at face value. Do your own research and learn better for yourself (which you ought to do regardless).

About portability

I'll be using the --posix option with GNU sed...

Changing from openSuSE to LinuxMint Debian

Been using openSuSE for quite a while off and on. Checking out LMDE. Seems pretty speedy, sometimes windows almost seem to jerk open.

vsftpd virtual user Quota

I am using vsftpd & implemented virtual user on Redhat linux 5.7 server.
Now i want to implemented Quota on virtual user. If its possible then please share your thought.
