Linux Gimux Vol 1.

This is a 28 page PDF e-book of collected "tips, tricks, scripts and bits "

I have found these to be extremely helpful and so have collected them into one document, so that whenever I forget how to do something......there it is!

I was personally very disappointed and disillusioned when I tried to install Fedora 14 on my system (1.5GHz Pentium 4, 256 MB RAM). The installer said that my system memory was too low for it to run. Anyhow, after some tinkering with the text based install - which doesn't offer much partitioning options, by the way - I was able to install it to my system. Putting parts together...

If you are like me, new to linux (October 2010) and have had the multiple headaches getting wireless up and running in Linux, have I got a gem for you. After trying multiple USB wifi receivers and failing to get them up and running I was recently introduced by a fellow penguin to the Alfa 1000mW 1W 802.11b/g USB Wireless WiFi Network Adapter
I'm certain that just about every distro out right now has the driver for this thing built in. (rtl8187)
The box comes with a 5db antenna which...
