funambol: Sync contacts and calendar

  1. Download funambol server package bundle (including java, webserver tomcat and database Hypersonic):
    32 bit: https://www.forge.funambol.org/servl...=FUNBUNDLE-LIN
    64 bit: https://www.forge.funambol.org/servl...UNBUNDLE-LIN64
  2. Install funambol:
    Code:
    chmod +x funambol-10.0.3-x64.bin
    sudo ./funambol-10.0.3-x64.bin
    • "yes" - accept license
    • "RETURN" - accept to install to /opt
    • "no" - Don't start the server yet

Half-way there

I dont know what I did, but I think I'm half way there. Okay, half is not all the way, but it's a start.

But...as pointed out, it's a workload, a big one. Now, just now, I turned the PC in question off, had been lit since friday morning (had a day of...) and now, I've got...barely a command prompt.

The trick is not to lose track of the dependencies. After all, since a configure/make/make install is possible, quite a few requirements are met ... by the host system. Trick...

kernel panic

hi guys
iam beginner to redhat
i had a booting probelm
"kernel panic running out of memory"
if i restart 4 or 5 times system will boot into redhat
i done linux rescue by miunting in chroot /mnt/sysimage
fsck.ext3 /dev/sda1 to fsck.ext3 /dev/sda9
i cannot run this command for"sda1" -Error occurs sda1 is mounted

how to solve the booting probelm "kernel panic"

Python - check if in IDLE

Another useful thing which I didn't realise before:

How do you get your python programme to check if it's running in IDLE or in the terminal? I tend to use the IDLE in Windows for debugging, and run programmes by double clicking so they open in the terminal.

There's not much difference between the two, but 'print'ing is slower in IDLE, and you can't use '\r' to overwrite things already printed.

Luckily, there's an easy way to check.
