I'm working on a project to make a pretty graphical display of customers who are having speed issues so we can quickly isolate potential internet issues. I'd admin'd a (very minor) open source project called "GeoXPlanet", which was based on a project I was assigned in college, both of which used GeoIP technology heavily, so I have a bit of experience with geolocation and graphing networks. It's fun stuff, really, it is.

I have this machine:

No, I don't miss you!

I wondered if I would be falling back to Windows and MS Apps anytime soon? So far I haven't felt homesick for a single moment, since I switched. I guess that counts for something on the Linux side.

I read about compatibility problems that gamers experience when running Linux. I am not a gamer so I can't comment on those subjects. My kids like gaming way more than I do, hence my wife plays more games than I do, be it limited to Solitaire and Sudoko. I haven't heard any complaints...
