Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

Seems there are a couple tricks to installing VMware on a Slackware based system. The question was raised on the forum by a member who was stuck and it needed an answer. A while ago i went away while my apartment was being getting a facelift, new kithen, new carpets and such. When i came back the entire thing looked really good, apart from one thing, there were stains of paint on the floor, and lots of it. I decided to get rid of some stains every day. Then it hit me, "stains of paint, material on the floor that does not have any function but just crap and leftovers"
The human DNA contains that as well, residue from the human evolution,...
