On The Road - 4

L.A. sucks. It is a horrible place, I had an alright time there, and I really can't complain ... But it is like eating your moms jell-o (you don't like it, But she loves to make it) you are sure that some people like Cherry Jell-o, and it may even have a fruit or 2 suspended in it that you enjoy ... But deep down, Jell-o sucks and so does L.A.

After that reststop in Las Banos we got a ride (some 200 miles) from a guy in a nice sedan, leather seats, air conditioned in front and back,...

Project Paradox

I've started development on my own operating system. I've achieved "hello world OS" status so far (boots up and prints a message to the console), and I've started working on core functions within the kernel to make actual kernel development easier.

So I'm going to use this space as something of a progress update as I go. Who knows, perhaps one day some of the crazy ideas I have on OS design will come to light.

Time will tell.

Linux is an interesting beast. By design it is modular, and so as a direct consequence it is very flexible. Its flexibility both on a large scale ( for example scaling for hardware ) and on a small scale ( what it can do ).

Operating systems such as Microsoft Windows however has been designed with a very narrow mindset. This 'target implementation' is a rough fathom of the average user's presumed work: documents, games, file management, etc. Although it would seem to cover most...

Can anyone please tell me in detail about porting linux kernel in arm processor????? I need it very urgent...Don't give me a link rather suggest me steps to follow....
