NEWS 161019 about RaspEX LXDE for Raspberry Pi 3 and Pi 2
I have upgraded the whole system and replaced the old kernel 4.1.20 with kernel 4.4.21. RaspEX Build 161019 is a Linux ARM system for Raspberry Pi 3 and Pi 2. It is based on DebianJessie (Debian 8.6), UbuntuYakkety Yak (Ubuntu 16.10, released 161013) and Linaro (Open Source software for ARM SoCs). Bear in mind that even a RAM disk over gigabit ethernet isn't going to be as fast as a local SSD, but it's still faster and much more responsive than a local spinning hard drive.
This technique of using another computer's RAM as SWAP is a great way to augment RAMboot, as described here:

Sometimes I see questions related with that floating around, so here's a quick and lazy (just copying defitions from the manuals or sites of these programs) post on which hopefully someone in need of such tools will stumble as well.

"The auto nice daemon activates itself in certain intervals and renices jobs according to their priority and CPU usage. Jobs owned by root are left alone. Jobs are...
