Acer Ferrari 4005 WLMi

My Acer Ferrari laptop was purchased 23rd March 2006 through the on-line suppliers ebuyer.com and it blew up the day it arrived! The power supply just fizzled and then would not recharge the battery pack. When I contacted ebuyer I was told to return it to the manufacturer, which I did. It was repaired under warranty and returned to me in around a month so I had no use of it for that time.
After about a years (almost continuous) use the power input plug and socket started to get warm and this...

pngcrush is an optimizer tool for PNG (Portable Network graphic) files. pngcrush is an excellent batch-mode compression utility for PNG images. Depending on the application that created the original PNGs, it can improve the file size anywhere from a few percent to 40% or more (completely losslessly). Read more
