The actual hostname would be the same, but other machines on the network would resolve it as whatever you set the DNS name to.</div>

As I need to create a image for a computer lab which have a lot of Virtual Machines (by VMWare workstation) on top of it. I want to solve the duplicate hostname problem.<br />
<br />
4 Computer Lab, each lab has 25-50 Computers,<br />
all the computer is Windows XP locked by SteadyState.<br />
On top of it, there will be a lot of different VMWare image. I am thinking if it is possible to use DHCP + DNS to solve the duplicate hostname problem.</div>
