Run Windows applications on Linux

Do you love games ? Are you stick with windows applications ? Wants to run those applications on linux ??


We face many virus & trojans ....etc problems in windows. But still we may stick to windows because of some applications like ... 3D games, MS Office, Auto CAD, Macromedia flash etc.

There a solution to run all this application simply by using "PLAY ON LINUX".

Is your system directly connected to internet ? if not, you may face problem to upgrade your softwares. Because all softwares may or may not available as "*.rpm,*.tar,*.deb etc". Even if they available you may face problem with their dependencies. The solution to this problem "Sushi Huh?".

Register your self as a linux user

There's a website, called, "The Linux Counter," where you can register as a Linux user and also register the information about your system. No mailing lists or anything, it seems, if you choose to register. Once you register, you get a cool little Linux logo, showing you as a registered Linux user, with your registered user number.

From the website, you can see a breakdown by country, state and city, as to how many registered Linux users there are in each place. Also, you...

Playing video's in openSUSE

Default installation of DVD pack openSUSE won't able to play video's of formats *.avi, *.vob, *.flv, *.wmv .... etc.

follow this to install mplayer and play video's in it.

TO install the codecs needed to watch DVDs, handle MP3s, etc. follow this.

1. YaST -> “Software” -> “Software Repositories”
2. Click “Add”
3. Select “Community Repositories”
4. Select “Packman Repository”
