PHP Make PDF Doc

Posted 12-27-2005 at 09:46 PM by quantumsized

Has anyone tried to make a PHP web interface to make a pdf from a link to a website, or from a file on there computer (such as a .doc, .pub or such) into PDF format and download as soon as it is done. I figure there has to be a good way. I know that OpenOffice.org Writer can export to PDF. But I would be more interested in making a web interface.

I did it for a client who provided the ability to upload MS-office documents (word and excel) and convert them to PDF. Unfortunately, I was also under contract and so it is closed source. Check out hotscripts though. I know I've seen some on there.
