Raspberry Pi temperature logger written in Python

Posted 09-24-2013 at 04:45 PM by Pyplate

I wrote a Python script to read temperatures from a DS18B20 and log the temperatures in an SQLite database. I used Google charts to display data from the database in a chart on a web page. You can see how I set this up here: http://raspberrywebserver.com/cgiscr...rature-logger/

Using SQLite on a Raspberry Pi

Posted 09-06-2013 at 07:54 AM by Pyplate

I've written an article on my site about using SQLite on a Raspberry Pi. I've only covered the bare essentials, but it's enough to get started.

I've used examples based on a database that could be used to log temperatures. I've already covered the use of a DS18B20 sensor, so I may as well build a temperature logging system.

Explain Shell

Posted 09-04-2013 at 12:35 AM by Pyplate

I found a great site for decoding Linux commands: http://explainshell.com/explain/ls?args=-la

You can type in commands and arguments, and it tells you what the options do.
