You have to keep up with the Jones with software. This is especially true with server upgrades. Upgraded Wordpress and that was pretty much a snap. Ledgersmb does not work any more because of php issues, but then I never really used it. Probably have to replace with Sql-ledger. One of the reasons for getting phppgadmin working. Finally made phppgadmin work with the help of LQ and a lot of other sites. Wanted to use phpmyadmin for remote management of psql databases. What a challenge. I think I changed every spec in as many files. Went through every log known to man (or at least most admins). had to make the port specs agree. Made sure the port was open with nmap. Updated my Dell GX1 PII server to Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. One or two of the old web apps are foobarred and need to be fixed. The apps I wrote still work though. The Firefly itunes sort of compatible streaming server still works. You can not live without music.

Updated my Wordpress blog (computothought.wordpress.com) with entries from an older blog. You spend any amount of time on a blog and it becomes a real body of work before you know it.
