Downloaded and ran CosmoPBX in a virtual machine. Was able to get ekiga to connect to it without a problem.
Mythtv box somehow had a capacitor broke partly off. Desoldered the cap and bought a replacement. Will have to install the new capacitor.
Finally got the raspberry pi. Made a power adapter that would use the power supply from the Nslu2 with a cheap one dollar micro usb adapter from Frys. That worked.
Install debian for raspberry pi. Installed a web server. installed the Voice emulation software.
made an installation of Raspbmc. Seems ok. Cheaper than a roku for sure. May redo the install.
MythTv server motherboard died. Hopefully I have a system in the closet that can replace it.
