rpi avahi (zeroconf)

To log in to a raspberry pi from debian on the LAN when you are sick of forgetting the ip address of the pi.

Code:
ssh rpi00.local -l pi
you need these:

aptitude install avahi-daemon avahi-autoipd
on both raspbian and debian (both wheezy)

and possibly

aptitude install libnss-mdns
on debian
