Hmmm, a blog.
Ten years on the net and this will be a first.
If anyone else actually reads this, good luck, I hope you gain from your time.
As a first entry; I am right this minute doing an online update to a brand new WinXP install.
This has gone all too well i.e. XP install @ 40mins then SP2 install @ 1hr20mins. Then antivirus and firewall and now the online update. I started at 3pm, it's now 5:51pm.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE...
This is no ordinary install, I am installing into a Vmware5.5 virtual machine running on SuSE 10.0. Reason? I want to use Macromedia apps. hangon... must change podcast to anything "Leo" that I haven't heard yet. Yeah, macromedia suite is not too dodgy and I like the intergration between the apps, so now it's all systems go without the need for rebooting. YAY!!!
