Yet Another Blog?
Well, I may as well say a few things about myself, I guess.
1. I've been using Linux for about 8 years now, unless I'm remembering entirely wrong (and this is possible, as my concept of time is terrible). I don't know how, but I haven't even touched a computer with Windows on it in almost 4 years. Working at Lowe's a couple of years helped with that (they use Linux on every terminal).
2. My favorite distribution is Arch, and I love KDEmod. Don't try to convince me to switch distros, I'll do it eventually when I get bored... and I will get bored.
3. I successfully installed Gentoo on a laptop in one day on my first try. What's all the hubub with how difficult it is? :P
4. I'm not very good at helping people I don't know do Linux stuff... but I did help a friend, who was a total Linux newb, through a lot of crazy trouble with his first Linux install. Talked him through it all via messenger on his dad's laptop.
5. I live in SC, but I'm from Wyoming. It was easy to be a computer geek in a place where there wasn't much of anything to do.
I guess that's about all anybody here might possibly be interested in...
