Hello, I would like you to help me make a list of some features of LINUX: the good stuff about it, the bad stuff and the interesting ones.
If you want, you can enumerate what you consider to be the best about linux (THE POSITIVE ABOUT IT), the worst about linux (THE NEGATIVE) and the Interesting about it...
For me, as a newbie and absolutely not skilled in programming or anything:

For me, as a newbie and absolutely not skilled in programming or anything:
The positive about linux is:
- There are not viruses, or at least not that much and they can't make important demage...
- all or most software for it is free, so no more evaluation period or time, spyware or adwares...
- the desktop can be easily customized
- it has spectacular visual effects
- no more worries of having to pay for software anymore...
- You don't have to steal other's work to use free software
The negative is:
- Programs are sometimes hard to install
- There are not many real good games for it, and the most popular ones can't be run in it
- You need to read a lot to get somethings working...
and the Interesting is:
- It is a completly new Operating System
- You can help improve it
- it provides freedom of usage
