This geeks got guns

As an IT professional you often run into mind boggling problems, just weird stuff which can throw you for a loop and leaving you scratching your head for days. Ask anybody who does it for a living and there will be at least one memorable horror story withing the last few months. Well I am no exception , however what I did with the erroneous hard drives was exceptionally fun ! I just found these pics laying around on an old external and figured I would share.

One of my few vices happens to be shooting trap and hunting , both of which keep me sane after twelve hour days of mucking through the corporate trenches. So after a week long diatribe with this particularly nasty server it turns out the Hard drives were bad. I wont bore you with the details and they don't really matter anyways, however I would like to show you some pictures of what an 8mm highly modified Mauser can do to 6 hard drives clear taped together at 100 yards with 196 grain sniper ammo, in the hopes that you to can find the joy in it. If any of you open source and second amendment rights advocates shot anything computerized that will amuse me by all means, please email them to me ! = )

My baby

Last HDD in the line

Anyways hope some people got a kick out of this
