Last time I visited
changelog64 , a major up haul to slackware current was done, new xfce, kde releases and a new 3.18 kernel. This indicates a possible 14.2 Slackware will be released in due time when stability is deemed.
Until then, I embarked on a little experimentation about making a minimal -current install.
Since I did not want to reboot, I tried chroot. It did not work, so have to do more steps.
