Using CentOS as a Terminal Server in an educational environment.

CentOS is a fully fledged OS based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. An organisation known as K12LTSP has created a version of this OS for use as a Terminal Server system in an educational environment.

For those unaware of what a Terminal Server is, basically it is a Server that serves terminals. It is one of the original technologies associated with computing. Think of the VDU's that were in your fathers office, and you get the idea. Take a look at for more info. Take a look at for information on using this in an educational environment.
