Hello. My user name at LQ is "hydraMax", but my real name is Christopher. If you wish to communicate with me, I have private messaging enabled. If you wish to communicate with me outside of LQ, send me a private message and we can exchange e-mail addresses.

I'm hoping to use this blog primarily to draw attention to the work I do and the projects with which I'm involved, usually available at my Web site, frigidcode.com. What do I do? Well, it is hard to summarize because my interests are so diverse; however, here some major categories:
  • digital art: 3D modeling, vector art, pixel art
  • digital music: short compositions created with open-source tools
  • articles: my opinions and tutorials on open-source, security practices, and so forth
Admittedly, most of what I've done so far is still on the beginner level, but eventually I hope to have a few masterpieces to show off. Nearly all my content is made available under some kind of "open" license, including CC-BY-SA, the Unlicense, and public domain declarations.

My most recent activities are:
  • A short digital music piece called "M04": link (mp3)
  • Completed a tutorial on 3D gemstone modeling: link
