Fun with Haskell

Posted 07-28-2012 at 05:11 PM by hydraMax

Lately I've been having fun getting back into Haskell. I had dropped the language a while ago in favor of more "practical" pursuits, but I see now that was a big mistake. Haskell is such a beautiful and enjoyable way to code.

Recently I made a few little designs and animations based on mathematical formulae. Photos or videos are available for each:

Spiral: Generates a 2D spiral with GnuPlot.

Spinning: Spins circle pairs around each other with varying radial velocities.

Sphere Color Wave Effect: Provides a nifty color wave effect over a rotating sphere.
