Well today it has been raining all day, so no skating, and I had to get the driving shaft in my car fixed yesterday, soo no money. So I thought Hmm, maybe do some homework? :P which I thought was a good idea.

At tafe we have started to go onto Windows Server 2008, because 2003 is going to be phased out so yeah.

We have done active directory and file sharing with group policies etc etc, because it is the same as 2003, nothing has really changed with the active directory, however, IIS, has now been upgraded to IIS 7.0 so its a little bit different, and it turns out our lecturer had no idea what he was doing in class, which was just 100% helpful of course, so I thought, well, I might as well learn Web server and FTP again, and create my own documentation for it, which I did, so now I can do all of the stuff in 2008, which is one hell of a relief because I thought it would be one of the things that just won't happen or, yeah just a bit of a hassle.

I just posted a question on how to set up an internal DNS server on Linux, I want to know how it works, everyone has been saying its rather fussy to get set up, but I still want to do it non the less,

well its 11pm, I got work tomorrow, so I better hit they hay, Night LQ!
