MS Office 2007 SP2 ODF formula support broken

Posted 05-03-2009 at 06:07 PM by penguiniator

Is anyone really surprised by this? I'm not. For a good read about this, go to "Update on ODF Spreadsheet Interoperability" at An Antic Disposition.

Woah, there is a lot of red on that page. Nice to see MS Office 2007 only opens ODFs created in Office, basically turning it into a closed format anyway. Well done MegaSys.

My corporate senses ( tingle tingle ) tell me Microsoft doesn't care, and didn't when they had to implement the open standard.
