Exorcising the demons of Win(98) has been a pain, as I wanted to try various distros (other than Slackware) on it; but the dang computer is selective about which cd's it will actually boot from.  Apparently, it has something to do with whether or not vmlinuz was bzipped, and/or how large the file is.<br />
<br />
So, I finally gave up and installed Slackware.<br />
<br />
Now I'm trying to get X configed so it doesn't look like CRAP; I've made a little progress, we'll see what happens.<br />
