Importing Evolution contacts into Kontact/KMail

Now that Novell has signed it's deal with the devil, I'm moving from OpenSuSE 10 to Kubuntu 6.06 (I think I'm actually using 6.06.10).
I have been using Evolution since I started using linux a few years back (Mandrake 9.0), and now I want to get rid of it.
So I convert to KMail. It has mail import engines for a lot of mail clients, so I pull it all in, and it preserves my folder structure. As yet, I haven't found a method, convenient or otherwise, to get my mail filters from Evolution.
I thought it might be the same with my contacts, but then I came across this which does the job very nicely. The only negative is the need to install evolution. I don't know if evolution-addressbook-export can be installed on it's own or not.
