So uh, this is my first blog

So yeah, this is it. I'm uh, kinda old. I was a little bit techie back when windows operated in a DOS shell. I wrote batch files. Then I did other stuff. Now I'm like just trying to get back on board but so much has happened. It's gotten soooo big and so complex. I took a look at the tree in my terminal and it was like standing on the edge of the ocean. Vast.
Alright, I can barely move around and do a few basic things in terminal mode but...what I really want to do right now is get Sphinx running. It will be a great learning experience. why? Well, before I dumped windows I was using a program called Dragon Naturally Speaking - it rocked. I write stories and poetry and I'm dyslexic. Typing is a bitch.
I started out on ubuntu and I really liked it. I mean it's awesome really, when you think about it.
But it had a problem with my printer so I tried LMDE and now my printer works.
So, I don't how anyone could have anything to say about this but if you're inclined to speak....go ahead. Have a nice day.
