anyway...

apart from the writing model/s, looking at my profile, there are indeed some changes here and there.

now a lot of complicated things but went into What distro do you use? ::

Quote:

puppy and Ubuntu and ... erh ... redhat(sort of) :( ... + the venerable bsd and solaris ^_^

basically never use puppy now. This one is good and very fast to use if wanted to do something first while waiting. Easier and dont need microsofts windows and those relying stuffs. External storage in the form of disk/s(usb or not) are important...

ubuntu is more suitable for permanent installations. Down here got one older one(basicaly icewm) in my the other older machine, another newer one(now they are going into 9.10 instead of my 9.06) in my newer machine but its on a very noisy disk. And the disk is getting full anyway...

redhat is still there in that older machine. Now got fedora 11(now they are going version 12, what to do) in my the other newer machine. Would like to prefer the new kde more(the old one: No) after moving around in this fedora installation for a while. Dolphin(something like konqueror) is great if really go and use it. My concern is not sure how centos looks like. Scared to try centos...

as for my bsd the previous one probably no more already or maybe not. Donno, lazy to check. Thinking most probably was deleted making space for videos and images and such. More directories and preparation stuffs then actual final releases. What to do. Now having freebsd 7.0(i think) in my newer machine, so far using this one as my default system now...

got opensolaris in this newer machine. Testing patience, thinking probably had the wrong distribution. Anyway, will try again if pick up a new machine...

just notice sabayon, its a kde 4.3 distro(just heard kde 4.4 is in beta release). Actually in dvd but they also got sabayon core in single cd release. But the single cd looks like an impressive gentoo thing, see how first as i need to resize/move linux partitions around first. Kind of scary. Have a look a bit, donno where to put this one. But anyway... there seems to be another sabayon. Its a "system administration tool to manage GNOME desktop settings". Is the sabayon 5(or 5.1) real ?? Most probably will only reformat fedora partition for sabayon kde. Can use centos instead of fedora, still a redhat. And how about slackware kde...

not sure about this one, just notice e90. Googling a bit, weird handphone. Really, if flips... its like one handphone on the outside and one computer on the inside. Hopes that the camera shows me *exactly* the same thing or i might just as well go aiming for a same 6233...

all in all, just noticed theres a couple of big books among the shelves. One is OpenSolaris Bible 2009, forgot to check whether got dvd and/or cd but i think probably so. Freebsd still on verson 6, so... who borrowed it better return it after a while. Another one is Fedora 11 and RedHat Enterprise Linux Bible bundle with one fc 11 with full 4 gb of fedora softwares dvd and one fc 11 gnome live cd. And finally, Linux 2009 Edition(probably also a linux bible, also left out in the notes ??) bundle with one dvd full of 12 linux distributions and one cd with 4 live linux distributions and slax is one of them. Believe it or not, that dvd includes majors like ubuntu, open suse, knopix, debian(?? my notes dont have it), gentoo, slackware, mandriva, puppy and the rest. Amazing isnt it. And now is 2009 december already...

a bit eat strength but if never the less, seems that next year got a couple more new things to learn...

NOTES :: as for gaming for both of my kids, usually using freebsd and fedora(because of flash). So far so good, not much problems...

so... simply put, kind of like my previous profile still stands... ^_^

for writing model/s, guess that this wont be of only one type. Hard to set, one chinese and one english as they grow and get set along the way. If want modeless types, go read stupid newspaper and tv/movies: Not wrong either because what else can they be: Probably cant sell...

//must still try go and pick up new machine/s and lately thinking of getting myself a new handphone. If not, cant catch up. And at the minimum least, just found or rather "think(thought ??) out" a couple of new forming but probably wont be using it...
